Who we are
Cub Sound Co. is a DJ and event entertainment company in Columbus, Ohio. "We," "us," and "our" in this policy mean Cub Sound Co.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the Check My Date form, email us, or book with us, we collect what you share: names, email address, phone number, event date, venue, guest count, and planning details such as timelines and song requests.
Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We see that a payment was made and the amount, but we do not see or store your full card number.
Website usage. This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, and our fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your browser's request.
How we use it
To answer your inquiry, check availability, send quotes and agreements, plan and perform your event, collect payments, keep our books and tax records, and follow up about your inquiry or booking.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people and services that help us do the job: DJs and crew assigned to your event, and service providers for email, scheduling, payment processing, bookkeeping, and website hosting. Those providers may only use it to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiry and booking records are kept as long as they are useful for your event and our business, and financial records for as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will keep only what we are legally required to keep, such as payment records.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. For school dances, we work with the school or its parent group, not with students directly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
